CDL A Entry-Level Driver Training


Description
Entry-level driver training ensures that those entering the industry are trained in safely operating commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) that require certain commercial driver licenses (CDLs) or endorsements.

The Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) regulations establish the minimum Federal requirements for training that entry-level drivers must complete before being permitted to take specific commercial driver's license (CDL) skills and knowledge tests.

Who is required to complete ELDT?
-First-time applicants for a Class A or B CDL
-Class B CDL holders seeking to upgrade to Class A
-First-time applicants for hazardous materials endorsements.


NOTE: Due to limited course capacity, we request you complete the modules within 60 days of enrollment.
